Massachusetts reports 203 new confirmed coronavirus cases and 10 new deaths

According to the state, of the confirmed cases, the death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in Massachusetts increased by 10 to 8,125. The number of confirmed cases increased by 203, bringing the total to 105,986 as a key indicator used by the state to monitor resumption.

The state also had no new possible deaths, with a total of 215 and a further 100 possible cases totaling 6,144.

The state said 11,971 new individuals were tested for coronaviruses, bringing the total number of individuals tested to 972,070. The total number of tests performed increased to 1,241,465. And the state reported that new antibody tests were completed for 637 people, bringing the total to 81,525.

Meanwhile, three key indicators that state officials are considering phasing in were lower, but one remained stable.

The 7-day weighted average of positive coronavirus tests was reported to have fallen slightly from 1.7% on Monday to 1.6%, and 94% from mid-April.

The three-day average for hospitalized coronavirus patients also declined slightly, dropping from 575 to 571 as of Monday. This number represents a 84% decrease from mid-April.

Two hospitals are using surge capacity on Monday, down 90% from April 15th.

The three-day average mortality of confirmed cases was also reduced on Saturday, the 8th, from 16 the day before. This number has decreased by 95% since mid-April.

Walsh’s comment came when the city entered the second day of Phase 3 of the state’s resumption plan. At this stage, gyms, museums and cinemas can be reopened with some restrictions.

According to Walsh, city officials are monitoring data for positive tests, the percentage of positive tests, and hospital activity “every day”.

“I’m ready to make the necessary adjustments,” he said.

He called on people to keep wearing masks, stay 6 feet away from others, avoid overcrowding, wash their hands often with warm soap and water, and clean the surface.

By taking precautions against the virus, Walsh said, “I took a strong position to control my destiny in Boston.

Walsh’s warning came when other states recently saw an increase in the number of COVID-19s.

Florida exceeded its daily record of coronavirus deaths on Tuesday, reporting 132 additional deaths, surpassing the state’s previous record just set last week. New deaths have raised the state’s seven-day average to 81 per day, more than doubling two weeks ago and are now the second highest in the United States after Texas.

In Arizona, authorities compiled 4,273 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19. The state, which became a viral hotspot after Governor Doug Ducey eased home orders and other restrictions in May, hit a record high, reporting 3,517 patients were hospitalized for the disease. COVID-19 deaths in Arizona have increased to 2,337, with an additional 92 reported to be reported on Tuesday.

In other states, the pandemic has prompted authorities to re-order plans to refit masks or backtrack and try to contain the pandemic.

California Governor Gavin Newtham announced Monday that he had expanded the bar and indoor dining closures throughout the state and ordered gyms, churches and hair salons that were closed in most places. The state’s two largest school districts, San Diego and Los Angeles (the second largest in the country), have announced that students will begin their academic year with only online learning.

The Governor of Hawaii has also delayed the plan by another month to exempt the 14-day quarantine requirement for out-of-state travelers who test negative for COVID-19. The state has one of the lowest infection rates in the United States, with 1,243 cases. (However, its quarantine requirements are the second highest in the United States, effectively closing the tourism industry and boosting the island’s unemployment rate to 22.6% since it came into effect in late March.)
