Nursing home organization warns governor about coronavirus spikes and PPE deficiency
Nursing homes organizations nationwide, combined with the lack of personal protective equipment, suggest that major coronavirus spikes across the United States could lead to more outbreaks in long-term care facilities. I am warning the governor.
“Nursing homes and assisted living communities cannot stop the virus on their own without testing, personal protective equipment (PPE), staff support and funding, and support from the public health department.
