71,197 coronavirus cases confirmed in Michigan
Lansing, Michigan — The number of Michigan coronavirus-positive cases increased to 71,197.
According to the Department of Health and Human Services, the number of cases has increased by 891 since yesterday, when there were 70,306 cases across the state this afternoon. Yesterday the state reported 584 new cases.
The state says there were 6,085 coronavirus deaths in Michigan.
The death toll has increased by four since the state’s recent death to 6,081. Yesterday the state reported six new deaths.
