A 53-year-old man from Florida was hospitalized with necrotizing fasciitis caused by flesh-eating bacteria from family bites. NBC News Reported on June 9th.
Patient Donnie Adams visited the emergency room in February after suffering a bite wound on his left upper thigh during a family fight. He was sent home after receiving a tetanus shot and antibiotics, but the injury worsened with swelling in his leg and mobility problems, the report said.
