UK coronavirus death toll increases by 110, bringing the total death toll to 45,422
UK coronavirus deaths have risen by 110, totaling 45,422 deaths in hospitals, nursing homes and the wider community at 5 pm Monday.
According to National Bureau of Statistics (ONS) data, figures released by the government do not include all deaths associated with Covid-19.
There are an additional 445 confirmed cases in the lab.
In the UK, a total of 295,817 coronavirus cases have occurred.

England
The NHS England says an additional 15 people tested positive for Covid-19 died in hospitals in England, resulting in a total of 29,202 deaths.
Patients were 46 to 90 years old, 5 of whom were 46 to 86 years old with no underlying health problems.
Two more deaths were reported, with no positive Covid-19 results.
Wales
Public Health Wales said the total number of confirmed cases of coronaviruses in the country increased by 22, resulting in a total of 16,965 cases.
No new deaths have been reported in people diagnosed positive for coronavirus, with a total of 1,547 people passing by in Wales.
Scotland
The first Prime Minister Nikola Sturgeon announced 22 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed during the last 24 hours at the Scottish Government’s daily coronavirus briefing.
In a briefing story, she said a total of 18,474 people in Scotland were diagnosed with coronavirus positivity.
There are no new deaths for people who test positive for coronavirus at 9 am Tuesday. In other words, the total number of passengers remains 2,491.
“The virus is still here and we are all responsible for keeping it under control,” sturgeon recalled.
She also reiterated the importance of personal hygiene.
Northern Ireland
There are two newly confirmed cases of people testing positive for the virus in Northern Ireland, no new deaths have been reported, and the country’s total casualties are 556.
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases increased to 5,859.
