Donating UNAIDS, ILO, and food to the HIV network

Funded by the United Nations AIDS, the International Labor Organization (ILO), in collaboration with the Department of Labor (MOL) and the National AIDS Commission (NAC), provides food, hand sanitizers, and chlora to various HIV networks in Montserrado County. I donated.

Donations include 288 bottles of disinfectant, 150 bags of rice, 200 gallons of chlora, and 100 bucket faucets.

Minister of Labor, Phil T. Dixon, said the HIV Department’s responsibility was to reduce the stigma of people living with the virus. According to him, having HIV/AIDS does not mean that the person has done something wrong, but 90% of HIV infections are done by sexual intercourse.

Minister Dixon said people should understand that HIV / AIDS should not deprive an individual of dignity and respect.
