NEW YORK (Reuters)-As global competition for the COVID-19 vaccine intensifies, Reuters invites a group of health professionals to answer questions as part of the #AskReuters Twitter chat series.

Digital Special Projects Editor Lauren Young asked participants what vaccine candidates are the most promising and what to expect regarding prevention, safety and vaccine deployment.
