Allegheny Co. Health Dept. Reports 147 New Coronavirus Cases and 2 More Deaths – CBS Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (KDKA)—Allegheny County Department of Health reports a new 147 Coronavirus Thursday out of 1,172 test results, Thursday, and two additional deaths.
Of the 147 cases reported in the last 24 hours, 140 were confirmed and 7 were estimated.
The county-wide total has been 6817 since 14 March.
The age of new cases ranges from 9 to 93 years, with a median age of 38, the Ministry of Health said. Positive test dates ranged from July 6th to July 22nd.
Ministry of Health officials report that an additional 15 patients are hospitalized. The total number of hospitalizations for all cases in the county is 551.
Of all hospitalized patients, 177 require ICU care and 82 require ventilator therapy.
The death toll has increased to 219. The two most recent deaths were 80 and 87, with the dates of the deaths 28 June and 22 July.
Since 14 March, 6,817 cases of COVID-19 have occurred in residents of Allegheny County, causing 551 to be hospitalized and 219 to die.
