West Nile virus attacks Brookline mosquitoes
Brookline, MA-It was a matter of time. First they hit the state, and they were recently discovered in Belmont. According to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Brookline, mosquitoes were now diagnosed as West Nile positive in Brookline on July 21.

According to health officials, it’s only the beginning of the mosquito season, and the highest risk of contracting the West Nile is usually in late July to autumn.
