Baby in Melbourne hospitalized at COVID-19
A Melbourne mother talks about the moment her baby was diagnosed with COVID-19 and warns people who aren’t taking the virus seriously.
In an emotional Facebook post, Nicky Jane told her six-month daughter Stevie Coronavirus After contacting her case with confirmed cases.
“This week was one of the deadliest times of my life,” she wrote.
“She spent the last two nights in an emergency and in the pediatric ward at Casey Hospital. Stevie was the first positive COVID-19 case in the pediatric ward that Casey addressed and the staff were great!
“She’s at home, and now she’s safe in her own bed, but we’re not out of the forest yet. We’ll still need to watch carefully for the next few days.”

Mother’s warning comes after confirmation by Victoria’s Chief Health Officer Jenny Mikacos 4 children were hospitalized in Victoria Coronavirus.
