Four Canadian coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in Canada — all from Ontario and Quebec-National

 


There were 4 recorded deaths from New coronavirus On Saturday, two people in Canada, Ontario and Quebec, were hit hardest by the virus.

Health officials in Ontario announced on Saturday that one person died at COVID-19, increasing the state’s death toll to 2,759 and recovering 34,240. Quebec, meanwhile, recorded three new deaths — one of those dead occurred before July 18, but officials said.

In Quebec, 58,414 people were diagnosed with the virus and 5,666 died. Over 1.1 million residents were tested for COVID-19 while 50,703 were recovering.

Overall, the country saw 113,480 confirmed viral cases and 8,885 deaths. Over 99,100 people living in Canada have recovered. However, these numbers are incomplete. British Columbia, Alberta, Prince Edward Island, and all three regions are not reporting new numbers over the weekend.

The total number of confirmed cases in Manitoba is 371 as of Friday. There were 37 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan on Saturday, bringing the total number of diagnoses to 1,136. As of 5 pm Eastern Standard Time, 862 recovered and 89,800 residents were tested for the virus. The state’s death toll remains at 16 and has continued since Thursday.

New Brunswick has seen no new cases of COVID-19 since Monday when the state recorded a diagnosis of the 170th confirmed virus on Monday. Of these, 165 recovered and two died. Over 50,800 have been tested so far.
