Wisconsin surpasses 900-positive COVID-19 tests on Saturday with 13 new deaths reported

Madison, Wisconsin (WBAY)-Coronavirus killed 13 people, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health.

Wisconsin identified 953 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday, bringing the state’s total to nearly 48,000.

To date, 47,870 people in the state have tested positive for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. Of these, 9,674 (20.2%) are still considered active cases. Another 37,287 (77.9%) recovered. That is, at least 30 days have passed since the first symptoms or diagnosis, or release.
4,368 have been hospitalized for COVID-19 since February, including 43 patients in the last 24 hours.
