800 new cases and 1 more death in Dallas County
Dallas County today has 800 new cases of COVID-in, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the county to 46,813. This includes 605 confirmed deaths.
County health officials also reported an additional death today. A Dallas man in his 40s with a high-risk health condition.
More than 1,450 children under the age of 18 have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the first three weeks of the month, according to county health officials. During this same period, 29 children, including four admitted to the intensive care unit, were hospitalized for this disease.
More than two-thirds of COVID-19 patients hospitalized to date are younger than 65 years. Diabetes is the underlying disorder reported in about one-third of all hospitalized patients.
Of the 605 confirmed deaths, approximately one-third are associated with long-term care facilities.
353 new cases in Tarrant County
Taranto County has reported 353 new cases today, with a total of 25,499 people, including 348 dead.
According to county health data, 12,549 residents have recovered from COVID-19.
Dallas County Establishes Daily New Case Record, Reporting 18 More Dead
Today, there are 1,267 new COVID-19 cases in Dallas County, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 46,013, including 604 confirmed deaths. The county also reports an additional 18 deaths today.
“Today is the best day of the new case reported. In addition, the 18 dead reported today make it the deadliest week in an outbreak so far,” the Dallas County trial. Official Clay Jenkins said in a statement. “If we continue to wear masks outside our homes at all times, avoiding unnecessary trips and facilities that don’t wear 100% masks, improvements can be seen.”

Since June 1, more than 98 confirmed COVID-19 confirmed cases have been reported in children and staff from 65 separate daycare departments in Dallas County, including three staff requiring hospitalization.

Two more deaths and 128 new cases in Denton County
Two more Denton County residents died at COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths associated with the disease to 49 in the county.
The two deaths reported today are explained as follows: Roanoke women in their 80s and men in Denton County in their 80s.
County health officials also reported 128 new confirmed cases today. This will increase the total to 6,043 cases across the county.
Health officials report that 3,276 inhabitants have recovered.
Wileyman, 84, died at COVID-19. 80 new cases in Colin County
An 84-year-old Wiley man with COVID-19 died in Founders Plaza Nursing and Rehab this week. He had an underlying health condition. His death results in the number of people with this disease who died at the age of 74.
Colin County has reported 80 new cases today, bringing the total county total to 5,762. According to state health data, 4,415 county residents have recovered from the disease.
Dallas ISD postpones school opening until September 8th
The Board of Education in Dallas unanimously voted to start class on September 8.
They were supposed to start on August 17, but this week’s decision follows the recent surge in the COVID-19 case. We also comply with county health guidelines.
The board also canceled the State Fair school vacation and took a leave on Election Day 3 November.
November 3 was also postponed, although it was approved as a new date for two board elections originally scheduled for May.

Dallas County reports early death of 5-year-old boy
There are 659 new cases in the county, totaling 44,746. Dallas County judge Clay Jenkins said the masking order is likely to reduce the number of cases in the county. Still, the residents must continue to take precautions, such as wearing a mask, he said.
“I think a positive trend is beginning to be seen with the statewide masking order that Dallas County implemented a month ago, followed by Governor Abbott. The fact that we are declining. Does not mean that we can afford to mitigate what we’ve come in. To be 100% successful in the future, it’s important to wear 100% masks to others outside the house.”

Denton County Jail Reports 45 New Cases
Denton County Jail has 45 more cases, including 29 inmates and 16 staff. In additional cases, the total number of prisons will be 60.
The county also reported the death of a man in Denton in the 1980s, bringing the total death toll to 47. An additional 192 incidents brought the county total to 5,915.
Colin County reports 112 new cases and 1 death
There are 112 new cases, totaling 5,682 cases. The death of an 86-year-old McKinney man was reported today, bringing the total death toll to 73.
The county reported a decline in case numbers on Thursday after removing duplicates and cases from abroad on Thursday.
