Michigan reports first measles case since 2019

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – A Michigan child has contracted measles after traveling abroad, the state announced.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) has confirmed one case of measles in Oakland County, the first case since 2019. MDHHS recommends that unvaccinated people age 1 and older get the measles vaccination to protect themselves and those around them. around them.
