Jeremy Clarkson, 60, criticized Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s mixed message on weight loss diets in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The brutal response of the Grand Tour comes after the unveiling of the UK government’s Better Health plan to tackle obesity in a bid to make the country healthier and help reduce the risk of people dying from Covid-19 .
The former Top Gear presenter said Boris “didn’t even get the new fitness message” before taking a cheeky look at the PM’s weight loss and his plans to help others.
It comes after Boris claimed to have “lost at least one stone” in recent weeks.
“Then Boris says when he goes for a run in the morning he knows nothing else in the day will be so bad,” Jeremy wrote.
“Boris claims he has lost at least one stone in the past few weeks, but I can guarantee you that soon he will put it all back together.”
