More West Nile virus cases found in mosquitoes in D-FW
Health officials said four new mosquito samples in Dallas County have tested positive for West Nile virus, further increasing the number of confirmed cases as mosquito season gets into full swing in the region.
Since first arriving in North Texas Summer 2002West Nile virus has a continuing presence in North Texas and is expected to continue into the 2024 season.
Positive samples have been reported across Dallas County, with the latest positive samples found in Mesquite and Irving.
