California reports possible H5N1 infection in dairy workers

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) announced today that a dairy worker in the Central Valley who had contact with infected cows and had mild symptoms has tested positive for H5N1 avian influenza after preliminary testing at a public health laboratory.
