World Polio Day 2024 – An opportunity for reflection and a reminder to pass on to our last children – GPEI
Thursday, October 24th is the annual World Polio Day, an opportunity for public and civil society partners to raise awareness and resources for the global effort to eradicate polio.
Rotary International and Rotarians around the world use this day as an opportunity to highlight the current state of the eradication effort and the steps we can take to ultimately achieve a permanent poliovirus-free world. I am.
2024 is a special year for eradication efforts. Outbreak of mutant poliovirus type 2 Gaza It drew the world's attention to the reality that as long as polio exists everywhere, all countries remain at risk.
