More dead swans found as wildlife officials track bird flu
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed Wednesday that two mute swans at Mather Regional Park have tested positive for avian influenza. Dozens of swans were reported dead at Mother Lake in Sacramento County in late November. The latest death toll from county officials as of Wednesday was around 30 birds, but the exact number is unknown.
