NSW Health pays attention to the spread of viruses
A man in Sydney-New South Wales became the latest COVID-19 fatal since the state recorded five new cases.
The death of a man who died at the age of 80 increased the state’s casualties to 54 and the number of people to 396.
Of the five new cases reported by 8 pm on August 15, three are associated with the Tangara School for Girls cluster.
Currently, there are 25 cases of COVID-19 tied in the northwest SydneyTangalle School.
Authorities are investigating the remaining two infections and were in close contact with a man in his 40s from western Sydney, who was in his 40s and was infected with the disease in the area.
All current infections are associated with previously reported cases visiting four separate locations between August 2-8.
The venue will include Concord’s crusted pizza on August 6th and 7th between 4pm and 9pm. Rose Bay Densi from 8:15pm to 8:45pm on August 8th, Cafe Peron in Double Bay from 1pm to 2pm on August 8th, Milton from 7:45pm on August 2nd, Bowral Park Country House Hotel and Spa’s Horderns Restaurant and 9:15 pm
Persons at those locations are advised to perform virus testing and self-isolation for 14 days.
The police fined the party bus operator, who was said to have transported 43 people from Penrith to Sydney, at night.
It was reported that the bus was pulled over at 11:15 pm in Sydney CBD and was driving irregularly along Wheat Road.
Police asked the 25-year-old driver about the number of passengers, including some who looked drunk underage.
A 17-year-old girl will be arrested after being found in cocaine and will be treated under the Juvenile Offenders Act.
Drivers were fined $5,000 ($3,586) for failing to comply with the public health order.
24,093 tests of COVID-19 took place from 24 hours to Saturday night.
