The Department of Health offers the following updates:
The Department of Health regrets informing the public that there are additional deaths associated with COVID-19. The person is an adult male with a medical history.
This brings the total number of deaths associated with COVID-19 to 12.
13 additional individuals tested positive for COVID -19.
o 9 positive cases-Trinidad
o 4 positive cases-Tobago
Waiting for laboratory form for classification purposes (such as contacting COVID-19 positive patients or pending epidemiological studies)
COVID-19 Positive Patients Hospitalized-(149)
75 patients are hospitalized/hospitalized.
Forty to six (46) new patients will be processed for admission.
