Coronavirus: Stanley pub outbreaks test positive in eight tests
Tracer is trying to reach many people who have visited the Empire Club
An additional four tested for coronavirus positivity in a club-related outbreak in Durham.
A total of eight people own Covid-19 after being linked to the Stanley Empire Club between August 9th and 11th.
The Durham County Council requires all visitors on these dates to be self-isolated for 14 days.
The pub was closed along with the town’s Ball Alley, Phoenix Club, and East Stanley Workingmans Club, which are also associated with the virus case.
On Saturday authorities said more than 100 people were in the empire that day There is a risk of getting a virus.
Council staff work with the UK Public Health Service and NHS Test and Trace to reach as many people as possible.

“We also encourage people who visit the club with symptoms to book a coronavirus test.
“But even if they get negative results, it’s important that they remain self-isolated for 14 days with the rest of the family.”
