Dallas County reported four deaths on Monday with 1,850 new cases. Daily Average Rise – NBC 5 Dallas Fort Worth
The Dallas County Department of Health reported on Monday another four COVID-19 deaths, 1,850 virus cases, and an increase in rolling averages on days 7 and 14.
The latest four victims of the pandemic are:
- A woman in her 40s living in Dallas. She was seriously ill in a community hospital and underlies high-risk health.
- A woman in her 70s living in Dallas. She was seriously ill in a community hospital and underlies high-risk health.
- A man in his 70s living in Dallas. He was hospitalized and had an underlying high-risk health condition.
- A man in his 70s who was a resident of Richardson. He was seriously ill in a local hospital and underlies a high-risk health condition.
The 1,850 new cases reported on Monday increased the county’s seven-day average from 1,251 cases per day to 1,431 cases per day. The 14-day average rose from 880 cases per day to 985 cases per day. In the second half of last week, both averaged about 500 cases per day, a backlog of cases released by the state has increased these averages.
“This time again, a number of cases have occurred since June due to coding errors in the state’s electronic laboratory reporting system,” said Dallas County judge Clay Jenkins. “At this point, it is reasonable and understandable that people are skeptical of state reporting systems, but science that has proven to be effective worldwide in controlling the spread of COVID-19 Being skeptical is unreasonable: wear a mask and wash your feet 6 feet away.”
Mr Jenkins added that the county expects “discovered, untreated cases” to continue for a few more days before the report normalizes. Among the untreated cases, Jenkins said the patient received the results of the COVID-19 test, but that information was lost to the state system and was not followed.
The county has accumulated 65,278 cases of the virus since the test began in March. An estimated 47,044 recovery has been reported by the state, with an estimated 17,405 active cases in Dallas County. With 829 deaths in the county, it is the third leading cause of death in the county after heart and cancer diseases, according to Dr. Philip Huang, director of health and social welfare in Dallas. Since March 20, the county has averaged 5.5 deaths per day since the date of the first reported COVID-19-related death in Dallas county.

Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily.
