Covid-19 infection rate among slum dwellers in Bangladesh is only 6%

Coronavirus infection rates among slum dwellers in Bangladesh have been found to be only 6%.
The Institute of Epidemiology and the International Center for Diarrhea Research have found that slums have a relatively low prevalence. This is because most residents who are garment workers regularly monitor for illness.

There are about 35,000 people living alone in the slums of Coryle in Dhaka, with only two toilets in every few hundred.
