At least 34 people contract drug-resistant salmonella infections linked to backyard poultry
(AP) – At least 34 people in 13 states have contracted salmonella poisoning, including some who contracted the infection after contact with backyard poultry was traced. resistant Federal health officials said it affects common antibiotics.
