Two people who have contacted two other Covid-19 infected people on the Auckland bus have not yet been identified or contacted.

A study by the Auckland Regional Public Health Service (ARPHS) found that two people, who were later diagnosed with Covid-19, boarded the same Auckland bus on Wednesday, August 12th.
“People weren’t traveling together, but the incident appeared to be related and it is believed that one picked up the virus from the other,” ARPHS said in a statement.
Auckland Transport confirmed that there are 17 drivers traveling the same route.
However, two passengers on the bus did not use the registered AT HOP card.
“Therefore, no contact details are available. Anyone who knows that he was on the same bus as the case confirmed between 10:30 am and 10 pm on Wednesday, August 12 was self-isolated and Healthline ( 0800 358 5453) Ask for advice and take the test as soon as possible”.
