Onondaga County warns of possible COVID-19 exposure in Skaneateles business
Skaneateles, NY-Onondaga County Health Department has confirmed that employees of Lakehouse Pub in Skaneateles tested positive for COVID-19.
The general public, who visited the pub at 6 West Genesee St. between 11 am and 5 pm on August 20, last week, should be monitored for COVID-19 symptoms for 14 days.
Employees wore face masks during work. County Health Department investigators are working to identify and notify all of the individual’s close contacts.
If symptoms occur, the department will tell you to stay home and call your doctor for further instructions. If you are elderly, have an underlying condition, or have an immunodeficiency, call your doctor early, even for minor illnesses.

According to the department, some people positive for COVID-19 are asymptomatic, so it’s “important” to wear face covers or masks in public places more than 6 feet away from others ..
