Scientists Target Coronavirus Immune Puzzle

New efforts are underway to understand how the immune system responds to coronaviruses.
Scientists at 17 UK research centers are asking questions such as how long the immune system lasts and why the severity of the disease varies greatly.
The new British Coronavirus Immunology Consortium (UK-CIC) says learning about immunity will help fight the virus.
We have received £6.5 million from the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and the National Institutes of Health (NIHR).

Since the virus first appeared, scientists have been competing to learn how our bodies react to infections.
