Target the root cause
Accumulation of fatty deposits (Atherosclerosis)-Fat, cholesterol, and other substances-When surrounded by a blood clot, the arteries that carry blood to the heart contract. In these situations, the ESC recommends a stent, a small tube that keeps the passageway open and the administration of an anticoagulant to restore blood flow to the patient. First, newly published guidelines recommend imaging to see if a heart attack was caused by other factors, such as a rupture of the arteries leading to the heart.
At diagnosis, the guidelines show that there is no significant change in electrocardiogram (ECG) measurements, which may be normal. However, the guidelines say that it is important to measure troponin levels in the blood. Troponin refers to a protein complex commonly found in the myocardium that helps regulate contraction.
Testing troponin levels in the blood increases these proteins and helps detect heart damage Clogged with blood Diminished from or at the heart. If this process runs and you get a successful result, you should repeat the test one hour after diagnosis. Otherwise, hospitalization is highly recommended.
Long-term management and lifestyle changes
Also, if the main cause is associated with fat accumulation or atherosclerosis, patients must be prescribed anticoagulants and treatments to reduce lipids in the blood vessels. Jean Philippine Collette, Chairman of the Guidelines Task Force and Professor of Cardiology at Sorbonne University in Paris, stressed the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
“Equally important is a healthy lifestyle, including smoking cessation, exercise, and a diet that emphasizes vegetables, fruits, and whole grains while limiting saturated fats and alcohol,” said Collett.
Lifestyle management strategies are strongly recommended for long-term management of non-ST elevation acute coronary syndromes. In press releases, behavioral and lifestyle changes, and adherence to medication regimens can best be achieved by patients with the help of a multidisciplinary team of specialists. From cardiologists, general practitioners, pharmacists to nurses, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and psychologists, a continuous and comprehensive recovery program requires a variety of specializations.
The guidelines also Sexual activity, Most patients have a low risk of having a heart attack. These risks are further reduced with regular exercise. The ESC Task Force also recommends that health professionals ask questions about a patient’s sexual activity and provide relevant advice and advice.
Influenza vaccination is also included in the guideline, especially annual vaccination is required for patients over the age of 65.
