Northern Colorado doctor warns that influenza vaccination is important in COVID-19
Healthcare providers say it is more important than ever to be vaccinated as soon as the flu season is ready to clash with COVID-19.
It means that it is the current time, as the calendar turns Tuesday from August to September.
Many pharmacies already offer influenza vaccinations. Banner Health launched a series of drive-through clinics in Larimar County on Wednesday, and from Tuesday UC Health provides patients with influenza vaccinations.
“Vaccination is important because you can get both influenza and COVID,” said Dr Marsha Hamner, regional medical director of Banner Health Hospitality in northern Colorado.
Making a hospital bed accessible to COVID-19 patients is important, especially in the fall, when COVID-19 cases are expected to surge, said Katie O’Donnell, a spokesperson for the Larimar County Department of Health and Environment. It was
Vaccination against flu does not guarantee that you will not get the flu, but it usually reduces symptoms and shortens the length of the illness.
According to O’Donnell, the Department of Health is likely to offer an influenza vaccine clinic when it receives a vaccine from the state. According to the ministry, the vaccine given in September is expected to continue throughout the flu epidemic.
Seasonal influenza usually spreads in Larimer County in late October and peaks in February, but symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose and stuffy nose, muscle and body aches, headaches, and fatigue. May appear up to May as seen at COVID-19.

Because the symptoms are similar, it can be difficult to know the difference between influenza and COVID-19. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, tests may be needed to confirm the diagnosis.
Dr. Brandon Stilson of UC Health Family Medicine in Windsor says it’s more important than ever to get in touch with your doctor and have a test if either of these symptoms occur. “Testing will be very important.”
UCHealth is considering testing symptomatic patients for influenza and COVID-19 at the same time, avoiding unnecessary exposure of health care workers to COVID-19.
On its website, the CDC said it had purchased an additional 2 million pediatric influenza vaccines and 9.3 million adult flu vaccines.
Health officials are optimistic that the flu season will be mild based on what is happening in the Southern Hemisphere.
According to Hamner, steps taken to protect yourself from COVID-19, such as increased hand washing, increased social distance, and wearing face masks, will help prevent the spread of the flu. “Following these practices may lead to milder seasons, which make it more important to comply.”
Because of COVID-19, the predictability of the influenza season is a bit uncertain, Stillson added. “We know that we get a lot of flu every fall and winter. There are many unpredictable things that depend on the decisions people make in the next six months.”

View photos The advantages of comparing online car insurance quotes are the following: Online quotes can be obtained from anywhere and at any time. Unlike physical insurance agencies, websites don't have a specific schedule and they are available at any time. Drivers that have busy working schedules, can compare quotes from anywhere and at any time, even at midnight. Multiple choices. Almost all insurance providers, no matter if they are well-known brands or just local insurers, have an online presence. Online quotes will allow policyholders the chance to discover multiple insurance companies and check their prices. Drivers are no longer required to get quotes from just a few known insurance companies. Also, local and regional insurers can provide lower insurance rates for the same services. Accurate insurance estimates. Online quotes can only be accurate if the customers provide accurate and real info about their car models and driving history. Lying about past driving incidents can make the price estimates to be lower, but when dealing with an insurance company lying to them is useless. Usually, insurance companies will do research about a potential customer before granting him coverage. Online quotes can be sorted easily. Although drivers are recommended to not choose a policy just based on its price, drivers can easily sort quotes by insurance price. Using brokerage websites will allow drivers to get quotes from multiple insurers, thus making the comparison faster and easier.
