CDC does not reduce COVID-19-related mortality

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention did not “retard” COVID-19 deaths, a social media post said this number fell from about 154,000 to just over 9,000.
The word “only 6%” became widespread on Twitter over the weekend as proponents of QAnon’s conspiracy theory promoted tweets, with CDC updating records and only 6% of US deaths related to COVID-19.
