In Guildford County: Guilford County COV ID-19 numbers have two different official counts.
• According to state health officials, 106 additional cases were reported on Tuesday, with no new deaths. This resulted in a total of 6,967 cases (129 per 10,000), with 170 deaths.
• by Guilford County Public Health ServiceAs of 3pm Monday, there were 6,527 cumulative cases of COVID-19 and 159 confirmed deaths. This is an increase of 227, with no new deaths since Friday. Since early March, according to the Department of Health, 592 residents of Guildford County were hospitalized for the treatment of COVID-19 and 3,912 recovered from the disease. These numbers will be updated later today.
