The Prime Minister’s local cafe, the company visited by Covid Case
The popular central Auckland cafe where the Prime Minister met with the city’s mayor is one of three eateries alerted by health officials after a Covid-19 infected person visited.
The Ministry of Health has listed the Morningside Crave Cafe as a “place of interest”. This place is where someone who was later diagnosed as virus-positive spent about 6 hours last week.
The Department of Health advises that the infected person was in Crave Cafe on Friday, September 4, between 9:30 am and 3:00 pm.
Just four days ago, Prime Minister Jacinda Adern met Mayor Filgov at the popular Dr. Morningside restaurant.
Both wore face masks throughout the top-level meetings and discussed the restoration of the city’s Covid at a cafe that Ardern called locals.
Two restaurants in western Auckland-Henderson’s Café Bake Cook and Newlyn’s Brick Lane Restaurant & Bar-were also identified as interesting places.
The infected person visited the cream in the store from 9:30 am to 1 pm on September 3.

Bricklane Restaurant and Bar posted on Facebook yesterday that an infected customer had temporarily closed the facility for thorough cleaning after going to the dining room last Wednesday from 12pm to 1:30pm. Announced.
The Public Health Department said that all customers and staff should be considered casual contacts because they were public places. There was no need for self-separation.
Last Friday night, in addition to the countdown store in Lynn Mall, a second supermarket in southern Auckland was also identified as a place of interest.
The infected shopper stayed at Pak’n Save Ormiston in Flatbush for 1 hour at 11:00 am on August 28th.
