COVID-19 cases in two Winnipeg schools
Winnipeg-Public health officials advise that two Winnipeg schools may be exposed to COVID-19.
Asymptomatic persons infected with the virus attended the Daniel McIntyre University Institute on the morning of September 9th and the afternoon of September 10th.
According to public health surveys, the virus has not been obtained on the school’s Alverstone Street.
Public health officials also advise on possible exposures at John Pritchard School on the Henderson Highway.
According to the prefecture, asymptomatic individuals attended daily in the morning and afternoon on September 8, September 9, and September 10.
Public health investigations revealed that the virus was not contracted at school.
In both cases, the state said the school was considered low risk because it kept a physical distance and wore a mask.
There is no close contact related to the case, and public health officials have not advised anyone to self-isolate.
