Suspected potentially deadly mosquito-borne virus reported in the Midwest
Indianapolis(wing/wood) – Indiana and Michigan residents are facing another outbreak of illness, which can be forced in their homes.
The Indiana Department of Health (ISDH) has been urging residents to protect themselves from mosquito bites following reports of possible human cases of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE).
A Michigan woman told WOOD in a test conducted by the Mayo Clinic that she discovered that her husband already had an EEE. If confirmed, it will be the first human case in Michigan EEE In 2020.

“That’s really bad. I didn’t think he was going to make it. I didn’t really think he was going to do it that first night. I saw something I didn’t want to see again. It was It was horrible … I just have a hard time breathing, “said Wescot.
