18 new cases of Covid-19 confirmed in Raus
Yesterday, there were 18 more Covid-19 cases identified in Corona.
The latest figures from the National Public Health Emergency Team revealed that 18 new cases had been identified as of midnight on Monday, September 14th.
This is the second day in a row, with 18 new cases confirmed in the county, and only Dublin has more cases.
This brings the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the county to 929.
This means that there have been 99 new cases in Raus since the beginning of September. By comparison, there were 36 new cases across August.
Currently, there are a total of 1,787 COVID-19-related deaths in Ireland.
As of midnight on Monday, September 14, HPSC has been notified of 357 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Currently, a total of 31,549 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Ireland.
Of the incidents notified last night:
- 185 are men and 172 are women
- 63% are under 45
- 38% are close contacts for cases that have been confirmed or confirmed to be related to an outbreak
- 60 cases have been identified as community transmissions
