A boy who broke leukemia twice begins the first day after a bone marrow transplant at school

A brave boy who has defeated leukemia twice is celebrating the first day of school.

Josh Stockhill was not expected to survive the night after he got sick Sepsis Immediately after the diagnosis of catastrophic cancer in 8 months.

Josh, who has three older brothers and one younger brother, was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia after Kirsty and Daddy’s Craigstockhill, 40, discovered a bruise.

They found 10 out of 10 patients in Spain, and Josh and his family moved to Bristol for eight months to undergo surgery.

Since the transplant, Josh has been recovering steadily, and November marks the second anniversary of surgery.

He joined a classmate at Layton Elementary School in his hometown of Peterborough yesterday.

Kirsty said: “We have marked all the milestones and each milestone is getting better and better.

“I don’t know what his future will be, but he’s a very happy kid.

Kirsty is calling for blood donations as much as possible during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

She says a simple cord blood donation saved her son’s life.
