Free Influenza Hepatitis A Vaccine Available at Lie Group State COVID-19 Test Site

You can get a flu shot while you are being tested for coronavirus.
Starting Thursday, the Florida Department of Health in Lee County will offer influenza and hepatitis A vaccines on all walk-up test sites.
Due to the pandemic, influenza vaccination is more important than ever.
A free walk-up COVID-19 test throughout Lie Group is planned for the end of September. Staff are available to anyone over the age of 4 with 300 tests on each site.
The test begins Tuesday and Thursday at 9am and continues until 12:30 pm if weather permits. Children under the age of 4 will be asked to test by DOH-Lee. The test is free and does not require appointments or doctor’s instructions. Parking is restricted on some sites. These are not drive-through sites. Participants will be asked to walk to the test area.
The planned location is in a city park, where staff from the Lie County EMS and DOH-Lee, Florida are conducting testing and accompanying paperwork. The selected sites are spread throughout the county.

Cape Coral is planning a walk-up site for the Cape Coral Sports Complex on Friday, September 18th. Free influenza and hepatitis A vaccines are also available.
The tests are scheduled to start at 9am and weather is acceptable until 12:30 pm or until all available tests have been run.
The Cape Coral Sports Complex is located at 1410 Sports Blvd.
The 300 tests are available to anyone over the age of four. The test is free and does not require appointments or doctor’s instructions. Children will be referred to the Florida Department of Health in Lee County for examination.
