96 new people and 1 dead in Douglas County

(WOWT)-A summary of new cases and other COVID-19 statistics reported today by health authorities in Nebraska and Iowa.

Nebraska, Iowa Total

Nebraska reported a total of 39,921 cases and a total of 442 deaths on Thursday. This number has been 502 since yesterday, and 3 people have died.

Hospital bed availability is 31%, ICU bed availability is 33%, and ventilator availability is 82%.

In Iowa, a total of 77,314 cases have died, 1,032 more than yesterday’s, and 1,251. The state also reports 55,837 recovery times.

Douglas County Update

The Douglas County Health Department reported 96 new cases and one new death on Wednesday.

The total number of cases in the community has reached 14,812.

A woman over the age of 75 has died. The total death toll in this county is currently 181.

The collection of 11,221 has been confirmed.

Lancaster County Update

The Lincaster County Health Department of Lincaster has reported 80 new COVID-29 cases, bringing the total community to 5,388.

The county also reports two new deaths. Currently, the total number of deaths is 23. A woman in her 60s and a man in her 70s have died.

The county reported a recovery of 2,180.

Surpy / Cass County Update

The Surpy / Cass County Health Department has updated the total of COVID-19 in its jurisdiction.

In Cass County, there are a total of 281 cases, two of whom have died. In Sarpy County, there were 3,241 cases and 23 deaths.
