Veronique Bataille, a consultant dermatologist, showed that “rashes are more likely to predict Covid-19 than fever and cough, especially in children.

“We found that one in six children develops a rash without other classic symptoms.

“In most cases, the Covid-19 rash lasts for weeks and eventually disappears.

Dr. Hilary Jones of GMB also talked about the rash as a symptom of the coronavirus and told the presenter that it was a common symptom from the symptom tracker app. One in eleven said they also had this persistent skin rash, with other symptoms.
