Michigan reported 929 new cases of coronavirus and eight new deaths on Friday, September 25.

The state’s seven-day average is now 734 new cases per day, compared to the average of 651 cases a week ago. The average number of deaths over a 7-day period is 10 per day, compared to an average of 9 per week.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 120,526 people have been confirmed dead with COVID-19 in Michigan, and 6,708 have died. There are also 12,740 estimated cases and 319 estimated deaths.

Of the dead, Wayne and McComb were three each, Kent was two, and Barry County was one. Houghton had one dead removed from the total.
