COVID-19 active cases increased by about 100 in North Dakota
Bismarck, NC (AP) — Active cases of coronavirus in North Dakota increased by nearly 100 on the final day, and four new deaths from viral complications were reported by state health officials on Sunday. ..
The dead included men in their 60s in Botino County, women in their 80s in Bottinault County, men in their 60s in Stark County, and men in their 90s in Ward County. All of them had basic health, officials said.
The state reported 343 new COVID-19 cases on the final day, for a total of 20,724 cases since the pandemic began. Currently, there are 3,766 active cases, an increase of 94 from Saturday. The death toll is 231.
The number of patients admitted for the first time on Saturday exceeded 100, but decreased by 8 to 96.
In the update, eight counties are shown as examples in double digits. Cass County is listed in 58, Burley County 57, Stark County 31, Grand Forks County 22, Ward County 22, Ramsey County 20, Emmons County 19, and Williams County 13.
