Alberta’s medical services confirmed more COVID-19 cases due to continued hospital outbreaks at the Foothills Medical Center in Calgary on Sunday.
AHS declares COVID-19 outbreak at Foothills Medical Center in Calgary after 12 cases have been identified
As of Sunday, there were five more cases of COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of outbreaks to 25.
Seven new health care worker COVID-19 cases occurred, associated with a total of 25 outbreaks.
A family of men admitted to Foothills Hospital during the outbreak of COVID-19 said the “whole story” was not told.
According to AHS, two additional units have been added to the outbreak, for a total of five units now.

The AHS announced that the number of isolated workers will be updated twice a week to refer to the latest report on September 25, out of 136 isolated staff.
According to AHS, hospital deaths remain at four.

According to AHS, all patients and workers who may be associated with the outbreak have been identified and testing is underway.
