Foothills Medical Center (Crystal Laderas, CityNews)

Calgary (660 News) — A fourth person was killed in the COVID-19 outbreak at Foothills Medical Center in Calgary.

According to the Alberta Department of Health on Sunday, an additional 12 people tested positive, currently 25 patients and 25 hospital staff are infected.

Two more units are included in the Outbreak Watch, one of which is the Transitional Medical Unit.

As of Friday, 136 healthcare workers were in self-isolation and three more units were on the Outbreak Watch.

AHS updates the number of self-isolated workers twice a week.

To date, 262 Alberta have died of COVID-19 and more than 17,300 have tested positive.
