Cuyahoga County surveys ‘cluster’ of coronavirus cases
Parma, Ohio—The Cuyahoga County Health Commission has confirmed that it is currently investigating a “cluster” of coronavirus cases in a nursing home in Parma.
The facility is identified as ManorCare Health Services on West Sprague Road. Patients and staff are screened for signs of illness and will be tested for COVID-19 accordingly.
3News asked the board for the number of confirmed cases of the virus identified in ManorCare, but said that no information was available as the investigation was ongoing. They added that they would work with nursing homes “to support any needs that might arise between staff and patients.”
