The Ministry of Health (DOH) today reported 2,363 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of outbreaks in the country to 331,869. To date, over 4 million COVID-19 tests have been conducted.
Of the more than 2,300 new cases, the Greater Tokyo Area (NCR) reported the most in 858 cases.
DOH also reported that 144 people died today and 6,069 died.
Of the total number of positive cases reported since the outbreak began, NCR or Metro Manila accounted for 171,427, or 52 percent of the total.
Quezon City has reported more than 2,000 new cases in the last 14 days, the highest in any state.
