Gwinnett health officials have released new details on plans to provide influenza vaccinations at early voting stations around the county and upcoming vaccine clinics.
Health districts in Gwinnett, Newton and Rockdale said influenza vaccinations offered on early voting sites will begin on Tuesday and vaccine clinics will be held in Nocross and Lilburn later this month.
“Influenza vaccination is more important than ever this season,” said Dr. Audrey Arona, director of district health at Gwinnett, Newton, and Rockdale County Health Department. “Influenza vaccines provide another layer of protection for prevention strategies.
