On the other hand, if coronavirus cases continue to grow, Ireland could face a new blockade within 10 days.

Sunday Independent reports that recommendations are expected after Thursday’s NPHET meeting, and the move now appears to be more likely.

This happens after Tanaisto has previously acknowledged that “short and sharp” circuit break lockdowns may be required to reduce the number of cases.
