Rotary Club President Mohammad Asan Achakzai spoke on World Polio Day, stating that Rotary International and its members are united to eradicate polio.
He argued that polio is a threat that the world needs to remove. “We need to work together to provide children and future generations with a healthier life without the health risks of polio,” he added.
The club’s president said technology could speed up the outcomes associated with polio eradication in Balochistan, and big data research could help create targeted strategies to eradicate the virus. I added.

He added that the club has been working to eradicate polio for over 35 years. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary has reduced polio cases by 99.9% since its first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.
Club members have donated countless volunteer hours of over $ 2.1 billion to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries.
