Two new COVID-19 deaths in Manitoba with a total of more than 4,000
Winnipeg-Two more Manitoba people died from COVID-19, according to public health officials.
Published in the state’s daily COVID-19 breaking news on Saturday, health officials said two women in their 70s had died of illness. The state said the incident had been previously announced and one was related to an outbreak at the personal care home, Miceli Cordia Place.
The death toll is currently 50.
In addition to the two new deaths, public health officials have announced 153 new cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the state since early March is currently 4,088.
The new cases announced on Saturday are in the following areas:

Interlake-15 cases in eastern health areas

15 cases in a healthy area in the north

Southern Health – 24 Cases in the Santesud Health Area

91 cases in Winnipeg health area
Currently, there are a total of 1,922 active cases in the state, with 2,116 recovering.
With COVID-19, 65 people are currently hospitalized, 10 of whom are in the intensive care unit.
Due to the state system upgrade, the 5-day test positive rate and the number of tests performed are not available. They will be updated on Sunday.
